Feeds- Millet ( bajra ) Grains, Wheat, and other seeds
Size- 32 cm.
Weight- 125-240 gm.
Eggs- 2-4 Eggs.
Call- coo-Coo-coo
Nest- Made with grass or bushes like that of other Pigeons, A diminutive twig platform
Identification- As it have a Name Eurasian 'Collared' Dove, it have a black collared type ring around it's neck. The tail feathers are grey legs are short and red in colour Eyes are red but looks like black from a distance the bill is found to be black.
The Juvenile is found to be diffrent with no collar developed and Brown eyes
Found In- A resident bird found in almost Every Part of India. Mostly seen in Pair and can also be seen in Flocks about 10-50 birds.
